To request account deletion, email support@eduledger.in from your registered email address with the subject Account Deletion Request.
What to include in your request
- Your registered email address or phone number.
- Your school name, if the account is linked to a school workspace.
- A short confirmation that you want your account deleted.
What happens after you request deletion
We may ask you to verify account ownership before processing the request. Once verified, we will delete or de-identify applicable account-linked personal data from active systems within a reasonable period.
If the account belongs to a school-managed workspace, some records may remain under the school's control where the school is the legal data owner and controller of those records.
Data that may be retained
- Security and audit logs needed for fraud prevention or incident review.
- Billing or compliance records that must be retained by law or for reconciliation.
- Records the school must retain as the controlling institution for school-managed data.
